Numerous resources are available to prospective business owners to help them develop business plans or receive on-going business counseling. The Rockingham Community College Small Business Center can be reached at 336-342-4261. The Rockingham County Economic Development office has an entrepreneurship development component, under the direction of Shawn Gorman. A Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE) Chapter also exists in Rockingham County.
